Insight into your position

You pay a premium over spot when you buy, so the price has to climb back to what you paid per gram before the position is worth what it cost. Aevumex works that out per metal and shows how far the market sits from it. It also draws the value of your vault over time from your own purchase and sale dates, so a coin only counts from the day you bought it.

What happens if I lose or break my phone?
When you set up Aevumex you receive a secret 12-word recovery phrase. On a new phone, download the app, enter those words and your entire vault is restored immediately. Then sign in to your account for your listings and chats.
Can Aevumex see how much gold or silver I own?
No. The architecture is zero-knowledge: your vault is encrypted on your device with a key only you hold. Our servers store at most encrypted blocks we cannot read, and deliver the prices.
How does the peer-to-peer marketplace work without an intermediary?
When you list an item you decide whether to meet up (for example at a bank or a dealer with testing equipment) or to use insured shipping. Buyer and seller settle payment between themselves; Aevumex processes no payments and holds no funds. Messages travel over a secured connection and you can report or block any user.
How can the app alert me without knowing what I own?
Because your device does the arithmetic. Ask to hear when your vault passes an amount and the app works out the spot price at which that happens, then stores only that price. To our servers it is indistinguishable from an ordinary price alert, and the notification itself carries no amounts. What you hold stays on your device.
Is the Starter tier really free without limits in time?
Yes. You can manage up to 5 coins or bars for free forever, with realtime prices, two price alerts, widgets, the marketplace and your recovery phrase. Want more items, unlimited alerts, your cost basis per metal or the tax export? Upgrade to Sovereign Pro.
How does inviting a friend work?
In the app, Settings has an Invite a friend screen. There you create a personal link and share it yourself, for example over WhatsApp. If your friend starts an annual subscription with it, they pay €34.99 instead of €39.99. Fourteen days after their first payment you get a month on the house: your next charge moves back by a month. Invite as often as you like; you are rewarded once a year. In Switzerland and Poland the store charges in local currency; the amount is shown in the app before you confirm.
I received an invitation link. How do I get my discount?
Install Aevumex, create an account, and paste the link under Settings → Invite a friend. Your discount then appears on the subscription page. On iPhone you first redeem your code with Apple — redeeming starts the subscription with the discount already applied. Buy without redeeming and you pay full price. On Android the offer is applied automatically. The discount applies to the annual plan and only if you have not subscribed before.
